Mission Statement:
The Office of Community Action & Service-Learning will strive to prepare Westminster students to be thoughtful, concerned, and engaged citizens ready to lead not only in the local community, but also in the global community through:
- Promoting the servant leadership philosophy and the social change model of leadership

- Enhancing student learning through community based learning such as service-learning

Social Justice/CIVICUS
CIVICUS is the building block from which the Westminster's Center for Leadership & Service was created. It is a student-driven program dedicated to developing "leaders of character" through community involvement, learning through service and active citizenship.

"The understanding of cultural diversity is a key element to our students' ability to take the role as leaders in a global community."
